Emelie Strömblad began their work experience in 2007 as a Corporate Receptionist at Sparbanken Öresund. Emelie later worked as an Administrative Assistant at Cerdo Bankpartner AB from 2008 to 2010. In 2012, they transitioned to becoming a Leg. Physiotherapist at Malmö stad, a role they held until 2013. Emelie then worked as a Leg. Physiotherapist at Lomma kommun from 2014 to 2015. During the same period, they also served as a Hotel Receptionist at Svenska Turistföreningen. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Ergonomist / Leg. Physiotherapist at Feelgood Svenska AB. Their most recent position is a Support Manager at Flow Neuroscience, a role they have held since December 2017.

Emelie Strömblad obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medicine in the field of Physiotherapy from Lund University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Emelie also attended Lund University in 2008 for French Language and Literature, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree in that field. In terms of additional certifications, Emelie obtained various certifications from different institutions. Additionally, they completed the McKenzie Kurs A, Lumbalrygg certification from Svenska McKenzieinstitutet in 2012 and the KT1, Kinesiotape steg 1 certification from Sandra Andersson, Ystad Rehabcenter in 2012. In 2010, they became a Diplomerad massör from Friskvårdgruppen.
