James Austin is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community services and management. Currently serving as Acting Regional Manager for Flourish Australia in the Sydney Region since May 2021, James previously held multiple managerial roles within the same organization. Prior to that, experience includes a Practice Leader position at Independent Community Living Australia and various leadership roles at St Vincent de Paul Society NSW, focusing on mental health supports and NDIS coordination. James also contributed to Neami National as a Senior Practice Leader and worked as a Club Bar Manager at Coronation Club Ltd. Early career positions include roles in disability care, coaching, and retail. James holds a Bachelor of Arts (Theology) and a Bachelor of Social Work from Australian Catholic University.
