Christina LaFortune serves as the Entertainment and TgIF Editor at Florida Today Communications/USA Today Network since March 2011, overseeing the weekly TgIF entertainment print section and managing a team of freelance staff for content production across various media. Christina is a television host on “The Florida Today Show” and has received multiple awards from the Society for Features Journalism and the Florida Society of News Editors for outstanding multimedia and features writing. Additionally, Christina is a founding member of Two Turns Theater Company, contributing as an actor and resident designer in the non-profit organization dedicated to producing intimate theater. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Recruiting Coordinator at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and an Assistant Ticket Sales Manager at the Shakespeare Theatre Company. Christina holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Performance from the University of Florida, graduating magna cum laude.
