Britt Kennerly is an experienced journalist and editor with a focus on education, breaking news, and community issues, currently serving as the Education and Breaking News Editor at Florida Today since July 2010. Kennerly has also worked as a reporter for Gannett since 2010 and previously held roles as a Public Information Officer at the University of Cincinnati and as a reporter for Florida Today and The Observer. Additional experience includes positions as Managing Editor at CNHI Media and The Republic, and Staff Writer at The Prospector. Kennerly's educational background includes studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
