Melanie Motiska is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, emergency preparedness, and communications within the health and emergency management sectors. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Education and Events at the Florida Hospital Association, Melanie previously held key positions at the Florida Health Care Association and the Florida Department of Health, where responsibilities included enhancing educational opportunities for long-term care professionals and coordinating statewide training for public information officers. Additionally, Melanie has a strong background in radiological emergency preparedness from the Florida Division of Emergency Management and owns a production company specializing in sound recording and video for esteemed clients including ESPN and HGTV. Melanie holds a BA in Communications with a focus on Audio Engineering from San Francisco State University.
