William Dashiell, FCAS, has a strong background in the insurance industry with experience at various companies. William is currently serving as the Vice President and Actuary at Florida Family Insurance since June 2015. Prior to that, they worked as the Commercial Lines Analytics Manager at Stillwater Insurance Group from May 2014 to June 2015. William also held the position of Associate Actuary at Kemper from 2011 to 2014 and Actuarial Analyst at Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. from 2008 to 2011. William has also worked as an Actuarial Consultant at Deloitte in 2007 and as a Senior Actuarial Associate at GEICO from 2004 to 2007. William began their career as a Science and Math teacher at Ashbrook High School from 2002 to 2004.

William Dashiell, FCAS earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. Their field of study was Mathematical Sciences with a specialization in the Computer Science option.
