April Brown, BS, MPH, serves as the Heart Disease Program Manager and HIV and AIDS Coordinator at the Florida Department of Health in Leon County since August 2016, where responsibilities include developing assessment tools for health educators and researching adolescent health issues. Previous experience includes roles as a pharmacy intern at Publix Pharmacy, where tasks involved managing patient demographics and medication processes, as well as shadowing licensed pharmacists at the Va Community Outpatient Clinic. April holds a Master of Public Health from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Alabama State University.
