Angie currently works as the Deputy Project Director at the Florida Department of Financial Services, a position they started in August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Accounting and Risk Management at the Florida Prepaid College Board from March 2020 to August 2022.

Angie also has extensive experience at the Florida Department of Financial Services, where they held the role of Deputy Project Director and Business Process Standardization Track Manager from September 2014 to March 2020. Before that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer / Finance and Budget Director at the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission from July 2012 to September 2014.

Angie obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the field of study from the Florida State University - College of Business, graduating between the years 1995 and 1997. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the same institution, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the Florida State University - College of Business between 1991 and 1993. Angie began their educational journey at Tallahassee Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree between 1989 and 1991.

In addition to their impressive education, Angie has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Angie is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they achieved in November 2022. Furthermore, they are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by the State of Florida, having obtained this certification in August 1997. Lastly, Angie holds the Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) designation, obtained from the Florida Department of Management Services in July 2018.
