Rebecca J. W. Jefferson serves as the Head of the Isser and Rae Price Library of Judaica at the University of Florida since February 2010. In addition to this role, Rebecca has been a member of the Task Force on Holocaust Education for the Florida Department of Education since February 2020, focusing on promoting Holocaust education across the state. Active in professional associations, Rebecca is an Editorial Board Member for the Journal "Judaica Librarianship," co-editor for the AJL Reviews newsletter, and has held leadership positions such as President and Vice President of the Research Libraries, Archives, and Special Collections Division within the Association of Jewish Libraries. Educational qualifications include a Master of Philosophy in Medieval Hebrew and a Doctor of Philosophy in Hebrew Language and Literature from the University of Cambridge, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Hebrew Language and Literature from UCL and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from HarvardX.
