Amanda Gay is currently serving as the Interim General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at the State University System of Florida - Board of Governors. Prior to this role, Amanda held positions as an Assistant General Counsel at the Florida Department of Education and as an Attorney at Guilday, Simpson, West, Hatch, Lowe & Roane, P.A. Amanda has also gained experience as a Judicial Extern at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida and as a Law Clerk at Guilday, Schwartz, Simpson, West, Hatch & Lowe, P.A. Their educational background includes a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Florida State University College of Law and Bachelor’s Degrees in Journalism and International Affairs from The University of Georgia.
