Dapo Iluyomade currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida International University - Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and as a Preventive Cardiologist at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. Dapo is an active Board Member for the Florida Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and a Committee Member for both the American Society for Preventive Cardiology and the American Heart Association. Additionally, Dapo is involved as a Social Media Contributor for the American College of Cardiology, a Reviewer for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), and a Moderator for the NEJM Resident 360 site. Previous roles include Chief Cardiology Fellow and Cardiologist at the University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine and Chief Resident at Mount Sinai Health System. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Emory University and an M.D. from American University of Antigua College of Medicine.
