Kumerini Candappa is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the consumer goods sector. Currently serving as Regional Marketing Manager for Upfield since April 2024, Kumerini previously held the position of Head of Department at DSI Samson Group in Sri Lanka from July 2023 to March 2024. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Bairaha Farms PLC as Head of Sales and Marketing and a decade-long tenure at Nestlé, where Kumerini advanced through several senior marketing positions. Additional experience includes management roles at Reckitt Benckiser and Fonterra. Kumerini holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Leicester, along with qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Commercial Management in the U.K.
