Joelle Fernandez is a Full Stack Software Engineer at FloQast since July 2018, with prior experience as a Software Development Engineer In Test and as a Senior Software System Analyst at Journal Technologies. Joelle has a strong background in software development, focusing on front-end technologies such as React and JavaScript, and possesses expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, SQL queries, and RESTful APIs. Previous roles include significant contributions as a Special Educator with the NYC Department of Education, where Joelle designed art curricula and individualized education plans, and as an Astor Educator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, collaborating on educational programs. Joelle holds a Master of Science in Teaching from Pace University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Special Education from San Francisco State University.
