Mark Olson serves as President of Flokk Systems Inc. since April 2020, where the company focuses on integrating information collection with field operations. Olson is also a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for Agriculture Technology Programs at Olds College of Agriculture & Technology, providing insights on various agriculture-related programs. As Principal at Solon Technology Consulting since June 2013, Olson has guided major corporations and government entities in enhancing their information systems. Previous roles include developing the flokk herd management system and operating a farm in Cremona, Alberta. Olson has extensive project management experience across several organizations, including Alberta Energy Regulator, WestJet, and TransCanada, overseeing significant IT projects with budgets up to $6.5 million. Olson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary.
