Sam Golden is the current Head of Marketing at Flock. Prior to this, Sam was with BuffaloGrid as their Marketing & Communications Advisor from March 2018 to March 2022. There, Sam helped shape the strategy, messaging and communications around connecting the next billion internet users through the award-winning BuffaloGrid Hub. From February 2015 to March 2018, Sam was with Augur Communications as their Lead Strategist. There, Sam worked alongside the founder to build and run a strategic communications agency that helped b2b tech brands with messaging, PR, influencer marketing, sponsored social, content creation, crisis communications, and everything in between. Some of their clients included AVG, GoCardless, Unbabel, BookingBug, and Pleo. Before that, Sam was with Chameleon from October 2013 to January 2015 as their Account Manager. At Chameleon, Sam managed teams delivering communications strategies for some of the world's most disruptive tech companies, such as Google, NetSuite and DocuSign. Sam's career in communications started as an Account Executive at EML Wildfire from April 2012 to October 2013.
Sam Golden completed a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism Studies at The University of Sheffield. Sam then went on to study Visual Design Fundamentals at General Assembly. Prior to that, they completed their A-Levels in English Language & Literature, Computing, Media Studies, Psychology, and Hutton Grammar School.
