Alanna Harvey has a diverse work experience. Alanna is currently the Founder in Residence at Braavo Capital, a growth and capital partner for popular app businesses. In their role, they provide on-demand and non-dilutive funding solutions for mobile apps by utilizing data, integrations, and automation.

Prior to their current position, Alanna co-founded Flipd Inc., a social productivity app for GenZ. As the Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer, they successfully reached an audience of over 3 million users in 100+ countries. Flipd was recognized as the App Store's App of the Day in 2021. Alanna's responsibilities included managing the entire product lifecycle, projecting and measuring KPIs, conducting user research, analyzing data, and leading development sprints. Alanna also executed organic and paid UA campaigns and continuously sought innovation and improvement based on user feedback.

Alanna has also gained experience as a Graduate/Alumni at Techstars, an Alumni & Member at The C100, and a Mentor at Founder Institute. These roles have contributed to their professional development and networking within the startup and entrepreneurship community.

Outside of their tech and startup experience, Alanna has pursued their passion for yoga. Alanna is a Yoga Instructor, providing energizing vinyasa yoga flows with a focus on strength-building, breathwork, and core. Alanna customizes their classes and offers modifications and adjustments based on individual needs. Alanna manages private bookings and scheduled studio sessions.

Additionally, Alanna has volunteered as a Yoga Instructor at the YMCA of Greater Toronto. Alanna has experience working in the service industry as a Server at W Burger Bar and also held the role of Marketing and Social Media Manager for a brief period at the same establishment. Alanna has previous experience as a Sales Associate at Nine West Group and as a National Brand Ambassador for Vibrant Ideation & Marketing.

Alanna Harvey completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from Ryerson University, between the years 2009 and 2013.
