Joseph Walton has over nine years of work experience in the technology industry. In 2021, they began working as a System Administrator for the Washington State Department of Revenue. From 2017 to 2020, they worked for Flint Hills Group as a Frontend Web Developer, where they were a point of contact in the Pacific Northwest for project acquisition, and worked with a team of developers in creating custom software applications. In 2020, they also worked as a Network Administrator for Charles Wright Academy, where they taught the AP Java course curriculum. From 2017 to 2015, they worked for Biotics Research NW, Inc. as a Web Developer & Network Administrator, where they maintained an e-commerce website. From 2015 to 2012, they worked for The Valley Athletic Club, LLC. as a Web Developer & Network Administrator, where they created and maintained their public website, custom scheduling and form submission software, and on-premise servers. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, they worked for Champion Teamwear as a Graphic Designer, where they created designs based on customer specifications for their companies and events.

Joseph Walton attended Wichita State University from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design. Prior to that, they attended Bethel College-North Newton from 2007 to 2009, studying Computer Science.
