Heather Smith has a long history of work experience in Human Resources. Heather began their career in 1996 as a Human Resources Manager at Fidelity Investments, where they designed and implemented a centralized HR support model for the Contingent workforce. Heather was then promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2006, where they were responsible for overseeing a staff of HR Managers across the US. In 2019, Heather became an Advisor at AdvisoryCloud. In 2020, they joined Flimp Communications as the Chief People Officer and Vice President, Broker Sales & HR Strategy, and also became an Official Member of the Forbes Human Resources Council.

Heather Smith obtained their Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from Syracuse University between 1989 and 1993. Heather has since obtained certifications from CHRO Exchange in June 2020, NeHRa in April 2020, and became an official member of the Forbes Human Resources Council in April 2020.
