Richard Gonzalez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Richard currently holds the position of VP of Quality and Engineering / Accountable Manager at Flight Power Repair Group since January 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of Quality and Engineering at the same company from January 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Flight Power Repair Group, Richard served as the Director of Quality and Engineering at StandardAero from February 2017 to December 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of VP of Quality and Engineering at Jet Aviation Specialists, Inc. from August 2016 to February 2017. In this position, they were responsible for research and development, engineering support, and oversight of the Quality Management System.

Richard also has experience as a Managing Director at American & Caribbean International from January 2016 to August 2016, and as a Vice President at Grupo ACI-ACN from February 2011 to August 2016. At Grupo ACI-ACN, they were responsible for operations, P/L, company growth initiatives, and the establishment of new businesses. Richard also established a renewable energy group called Ecosolarenergy.

Earlier in their career, Richard worked at Jet Aviation Specialists as a VP of Quality and Engineering from February 2009 to February 2011. Richard also held the position of Quality Manager at the same company from July 2007 to February 2009, where they were responsible for maintaining the plant's quality system and handling additional departments.

Additionally, Richard has worked at PAS Technologies as an Engineering and Quality Manager from May 2004 to July 2007, and as a Process/Sales Engineer from August 1999 to May 2004. Richard started their career at Siemens as a Manufacturing Engineer from January 1998 to August 1999, where they were involved in cost reduction projects, production support, and ISO certifications.

Richard Gonzalez has a diverse education history. Richard earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University, from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they briefly attended the Florida Institute of Technology, focusing on Ocean Engineering from 1992 to 1993. Later on, they pursued further education at the University of Miami, earning both an MBA with a concentration in Management from the University of Miami Herbert Business School from 2001 to 2003, as well as a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami during the same period.
