Jorge Gomez has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Jorge started their career in 1987 at Aerothrust Corporation as a Project Manager for the CFM56 program, where they were responsible for acquiring, developing, and implementing the product line. Jorge also collaborated with the Engineering Department to expand shop capabilities. Jorge then moved to Aviation Engine Service as the Vice President/General Manager, overseeing activities related to maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Pratt & Whitney engines.
In 2011, Jorge joined Turbine Engine Center as a Program Manager, where they acquired and oversaw the implementation of the CFM56 product line. Jorge also prepared various technical documents and worked closely with the Quality Department. Jorge later worked at Complete Turbine Service as a Quality Assurance/Technical Writer, where they wrote technical manuals and publications for aircraft engines.
Jorge's experience also includes working as a Purchasing Manager at Global Engine Maintenance and as a Materials Manager at CG Miami NDT, where they focused on managing the supply chain and ensuring uninterrupted material flow.
Jorge has also held roles at Eagle Packaging and Machinery, where they worked as a Purchasing Manager/Inventory Management, and at Permagard as a Supply Chain Manager, responsible for managing inventory levels and negotiating material purchases.
Currently, Jorge is at Flight Power Repair Group, where they started as a Senior Production Manager and progressed to the role of Director of Production Operations.
