Mariska van Niekerk has a diverse work experience in various roles related to digital marketing and media. Mariska started their career in 2012 at Newsclip Media Monitoring, where they worked as a Media Assistant and later as a Junior Client Support Consultant. In 2013, they joined Lighthouse Digital as an Online Campaign Manager. Mariska then worked at So Interactive - Digital Creative Agency as a Social Media and Marketing Specialist from 2014 to 2016. Mariska then joined Club Med, where they held positions as a Content Manager and later as a CRM and Online Executive. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Flight Centre Travel Group South Africa, first as a Digital Marketing Specialist and then as a Digital Marketing Manager. Currently, Mariska is working at Flight Centre Travel Group South Africa as a Performance Marketing Lead, starting in 2023.
Mariska van Niekerk attended the University of the Free State from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a B.A. degree in Integrated Marketing Communication. Later, they pursued their studies at the same university from 2011 to 2012 and completed a B.A. degree with Honors in Corporate and Marketing Communication, focusing on Marketing. In 2019, they obtained certifications in Google Ads Display and Google Ads Search from Google.
