Meng Tian is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Flexport since January 2022, Meng oversees a team of 10 engineers, focusing on the Flexport Messaging platform and Flexport forwarding websites while actively engaging in project planning, system design, and team management. Previous roles at Flexport included Tech-Lead Manager and Senior Software Engineer, where critical contributions were made to messaging systems and forwarding applications. Before joining Flexport, Meng was a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, leading the design and implementation of the Microsoft Signup Component Library and significantly improving performance metrics. Meng holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from Shandong University of Science and Technology.
