Xingang Huang has held various roles in the software engineering field since 2000. Xingang began their career as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore in 2000. In 2008, they took on the role of Adjunct Professor at North Dakota State University. Two years later, they began working as a Software Engineer at the same university. In 2014, they became a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer at FBS.

Xingang Huang received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1993. Xingang then went on to receive their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1996. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2000.
