Ryan Coulson is currently working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Flexiv Robotics, where Ryan is developing a bi-modal robotic gripper using gecko adhesive technology. Ryan previously conducted Master's Thesis Research on Dexterous Robot Hands and Stiffness Tuning Robot Grippers at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition, Ryan has also worked as an R&D Intern at ESTAT Actuation and participated in robotics summer research at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College.
