Angel Ruiz began their work experience in 1993 as a Lead Technician at TCI Cablevision of Houston. Angel then worked as a Demand Maintenance Technician at OPTEL LTD from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, they joined US on Line as a Lead Technician. From 2001 to 2005, they served as an Operations Supervisor at Ygnition Networks. Following that, Ruiz worked as a CATV Supervisor at Phonoscope from 2005 to 2017. Angel then joined EnTouch Systems, Inc. and held roles as a Headend Technician from 2017 to 2022 and a Construction Coordinator from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are working as a Field Service Project Engineer at FlexGen starting in 2022.

Angel Ruiz attended John H Reagan High School from 1985 to 1989, but did not pursue any specific degree or field of study during that time.
