Xinzhong Chen is a Senior Photonic Engineer at Flexcompute since October 2022, with prior experience as a Product Specialist for High Frequency Electromagnetics at COMSOL, Inc. from December 2021 to October 2022, where innovative software features for RF and Wave Optics modules were developed. As a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Stony Brook University from September 2015 to December 2021, Xinzhong Chen focused on numerical modeling of near-field systems and machine learning applications in physics, publishing over 10 academic journal papers. In earlier roles at the same institution, Xinzhong Chen contributed to condensed matter physics and nanophotonics as a Research Assistant and served as a Teaching Assistant for a junior-level electronics lab course. Xinzhong Chen earned a PhD in Physics from Stony Brook University in 2020.
