Dean Murphy has held various executive roles throughout their career. Dean served as the Chief Executive Officer at FLEET Response starting in September 2020. Prior to that, they were the President at Terracare Associates from March 2010 to December 2019. Dean also worked as the Vice-President and Regional Director at American Civil Constructors from September 2000 to February 2010.

Dean Murphy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus on Marketing and Economics from Lipscomb University, where they attended from 1981 to 1985.
