Hao Wu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career as an Engineer at China Telecom in 1997 and worked there until 1999. After that, they joined Georgia Institute of Technology as a Research Assistant from 1999 to 2005. In 2005, Hao Wu joined Google and served as an Uber Tech Lead, leading technical innovations in various large-scale internet products across different departments. They were with Google for a remarkable period of 17 years, until October 2022. Currently, Hao Wu is a Founding Engineering Lead at flavrs, a position they started in October 2022.

Hao Wu completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology during the period of 1999 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications from 1990 to 1997.
