Sezer Ovunc's work experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Flatiron Software Co since February 2018. Additionally, they co-founded UlakFin Financial Technology Services Inc. in June 2019, where they held the role of Co-Founder until June 2020.

Sezer Ovunc also worked at Hearst UK as a Software Engineer from February 2018 to February 2019. During this time, they designed and developed an ETL service from scratch in a microservice environment for migrating magazine sites within Hearst Magazines.

Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Garanti Teknoloji from April 2017 to February 2018. Their responsibilities included working with Oracle database and Oracle ODI to run big ETL operations on Oracle Datawarehouse, designing data flows, and developing large SQL queries.

Sezer Ovunc started their career as a Software Engineer at MilSOFT Yazılım Teknolojileri A.Ş. in July 2013 and worked there until April 2017. They worked on a web-based project named Mil-TRAC, utilizing Java, JSF, Maven, and managing various supporting technologies such as relational databases and application servers.

During the summer of 2012, Sezer Ovunc interned at Fraunhofer IIS for three months. Their responsibilities included developing new design flows, analyzing existing design tools, programming algorithms, and benchmarking advanced integrated systems. Their main focus was on 3D integration systems and they used TCL scripting language for automation.

In August 2011, Sezer Ovunc interned as a Systems Engineering Intern at STM A.Åž. for one month.

Overall, Sezer Ovunc has gained extensive experience in software engineering, ETL operations, web development, and internships in various technology companies and organizations.

Sezer Ovunc obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bilkent University, from the years 2009 to 2013. In addition to this degree, Sezer Ovunc also obtained several certifications from Oracle. These certifications include a Certificate of Completion in Oracle Database 12c: RAC Administration, obtained in August 2016, a Certificate of Completion in Oracle Database 12c: Administration Workshop, obtained in April 2016, a Certificate of Completion in Oracle Database 12c: Backup and Recovery, obtained in April 2016, and a Certificate of Completion in Oracle Database 12c: Introduction to SQL, obtained in March 2016.
