Katie Colaianni has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Katie most recently worked at FLASH as the Director of Learning and Development starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at Restaurant365 as a Sales Enablement Specialist and later as a Product Manager. Katie also worked at Compeat Restaurant Management Software, where they served as a Product Manager, Talent Development Manager, Sales Engineer, and Implementation Project Manager. Before that, they were the Manager of Business & Operations at Better Bites Bakery, Assistant General Manager at Panera Bread, and General Manager at A Baker's Tale. Additionally, they worked as the Manager of Training & Education at Protein Bar, Manager of the Pantry Category at The Pampered Chef, and as a Chef Instructor at Robert Morris University. Their earliest position was as a Manager at Mia Francesca Trattoria.

Katie Colaianni's education history begins in 1997 when they attended Hoffman Estates High School and obtained their diploma in General Education in 2001. In 2001, they attended Augustana College for Math/Physics, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree from that institution. In 2002, Katie enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago and completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Culinary Arts by 2003.

After a brief break in their education, they pursued further qualifications in the field of Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies by attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2012. There, they obtained a Health Coach Certification. Over the years, Katie has also earned additional certifications, including the Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) from the same institution in March 2012 and again in July 2015.
