Angelique Ahlström has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. In 2015, they were the Co-lead Editor of the Federalism-E Academic Journal at Queen's University. In 2016, they were a Graduate Assistant and Seminar Instructor of Intro to Political Thought at the University of Victoria. In 2017, they were a Co-founder of Gamma and a Technical Researcher & Writer at Visual Capitalist, specializing in Robotics, Data Science, and Energy. Angelique co-authored a book for Visual Capitalist. In 2018, they were the Chief Operations Officer at blocksEDU, designing emerging technology programs for universities, corporations, and institutions. Her core stems were Renewable Energy Technologies and Corporate Social Responsibility. Since 2019, they have been the Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Flash Forest, Canada's first-to-market and largest autonomous UAV reforestation company. Their mission is to reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide and regenerate ecosystems on a planetary scale. They have been featured in New York Magazine, Washington Post, CNN, National Geographic, and more.
Angelique Ahlström has a diverse educational background. In 2019, they earned a Master's Certificate in Commercial Space Technology Studies from the International Space University. From 2015 to 2017, they obtained a Master of Arts in Political Science, Theory from the University of Victoria. From 2012 to 2015, they earned a Bachelor of Arts, Double Major (highest distinction) in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Victoria. Additionally, they hold certifications in Aircraft Dispatcher from Snow-water Heli-Skiing in British Columbia, Graduate Certificate in Commercial Space Studies from the Florida Institute of Technology, and Sound Engineering from SPEKTRUM | art science community.
