Aamna Zia started their work experience in 2012 as an Analyst at Maestro Capital. In 2014, they worked as a Senior Associate in M&A Advisory at Deloitte Canada. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Senior Investment Analyst at the Department of Energy, Government of Alberta, where they led financial and commercial due diligence and valuation for the Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain Pipeline buyout. Starting in 2019, Aamna joined Front Row Ventures as an Alumni and became a Mentor at MAX Muslim Awards for Excellence. Aamna also worked as the VP of Operations and Finance at Flare Systems, where they successfully raised capital and established financial management and board governance. Aamna was also a Head of Sales and a Head of Finance at Flare Systems. In addition, they joined Fintech Cadence as an Advisor and served as an Advisor for Finance and Strategy at Eduro. Aamna was a participant in the 2019 cohort of Next AI, where they received coaching on scaling and growing a startup in the cybersecurity and AI space. Most recently, they co-founded FuseFinancial in 2021 and serves as the CEO.
