Wayne Chmiel currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer at FLANDERS since 2022. Prior to this role, Wayne held positions such as Vice President of Business Development at MetalTek International and Chief Technical Officer/Head of R&D at Sandvik Mining & Construction, where responsibilities included global R&D oversight and P&L management for loading and hauling equipment. Wayne's experience also encompasses significant roles at Caterpillar Inc. and Bucyrus International, where accountability extended to global P&L for electric rope shovels and mining shovels, and product marketing for surface mining products. Earlier roles at Komatsu America Corp. and ANI Mineral Processing included product marketing, business systems strategy, and product development. Wayne received an Executive MBA from Bradley University and completed the Sandvik Executive Leadership Program at IMD, following a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
