Michael Della Penna has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Michael started their career at Hudson Valley Bank as a Relationship Manager in 2005 and then moved on to work at Provident Bank as an Assistant Vice President in Commercial Lending from 2009 to 2011. Michael then joined KeyBank as a Vice President in Middle Market Commercial Banking from 2011 to 2013. Following that, they worked at East West Bank as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager from 2013 to 2014. Michael then joined Northeast Community Bank as a Vice President from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are employed at New York Community Bank (NYCB) where they have held multiple roles including Vice President, Sr. Credit Risk Analyst in Enterprise Risk Management from 2016 to 2017, Senior Vice President, Credit Risk Policy and Analytics Manager from 2017 to 2020, and currently as the Senior Vice President, Director of Credit Risk Administration since January 2020.
Michael Della Penna completed their education with an MBA in Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business from the year 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Michael completed their secondary education at Eastchester High School from 1996 to 2000.
