Julie has spent the last 20 years studying the areas of substance use, recovery, incarceration, and re-entry at various community levels. An economist by training, she focuses on the economic impacts at both the individual and community levels. Julie is a member of the federally recognized Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
