Vladymir Bertrand began their work experience in 2002 at Barry University as an Assistant Manager of Computer Labs. Vladymir then transitioned to the role of Manager of Computer Labs in November 2004. In 2008, they joined R & D Systems Group as a Technical Sales and Implementation professional. In 2009, they started working at Flagship Solutions Group, Inc as a Technical Delivery Engineer and also returned to Barry University as a Systems Operator. Vladymir later became a Senior Systems Administrator at Barry University.

Vladymir Bertrand obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science from Barry University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Vladymir furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Information Security at Nova Southeastern University from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the CompTIA A+ Certification in October 2000, CompTIA Network+ Certification in June 2001, and CompTIA Security+ Certification in December 2008. Furthermore, they have achieved the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization in January 2017, Double VCP - Data Center Virtualization & Network Virtualization in April 2019, VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization in April 2019, and VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2019 in January 2019. Recently, they have earned certifications such as CompTIA IT Operations Specialist - CIOS Stackable Certification and CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist - CSIS Stackable Certification from CompTIA in August 2020. Additionally, they obtained the LFS158x: Introduction to Kubernetes certification from The Linux Foundation in August 2020.
