Evan Monroe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Evan began their career as a Freelance Groundsman at ESPN in 2006 before transitioning to a role as a Substitute Teacher at Windham Public School District and Bridgeport Public Schools. In 2008, Evan worked as a Campus Client Representative for Music Gremlin, a streaming MP3 player company. However, the company was eventually overshadowed by competitors.
Evan then joined CDW-G in 2010 as a K-12 Account Manager, where they provided IT solutions and products to school districts in Massachusetts. After five years, they moved to Cumulus Global as a Cloud Consultant, tasked with evaluating client needs and developing customized multi-cloud solutions.
In 2015, Evan took on the role of Field Account Executive at The Ockers Company, followed by positions at TBNG Consulting, first as an Account Executive, and then as a Channel Partner and Marketing Manager. At TBNG Consulting, they focused on client management and marketing responsibilities.
From 2020 to 2021, Evan worked at Netology, LLC as a Virtual CIO. In this role, they served as a client advocate, coordinating IT strategy and technical planning for existing clients across various industries. Evan also liaised between clients and in-house technical resources and delivered quarterly business reviews to senior executives.
Most recently, Evan joined Flagship Networks Inc. in 2021 as a Senior Account Manager.
Evan Monroe attended the University of Connecticut from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism and Political Science. Evan also pursued a minor in Sociology during their time at the university. Additionally, in May 2015, Evan obtained certifications in Google Apps for Business and Google Apps for Education Sales from Google.
