Vidar Rabben has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Vidar started their career in 1999 as a Regional Manager at Coca-Cola Drikker AS, where they had responsibilities in personnel management, sales, marketing, logistics, and budgeting. In 2001, they moved on to Rabben Fiskeredskap As, where they worked in administration for a year. Vidar then joined Network Norway in 2002, working as a Sales Telecommunication for five years. In 2007, they joined Aco Kjemi AS as a Sales Manager until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Vidar served as the General Manager at ShoreConnection International AS. Vidar then established their own consulting company, Rabben Konsult As, where they held the role of General Manager from 2016 to 2020. Finally, in 2017, they became the CEO of Fjord Maritime.

Vidar Rabben completed their education with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from NHH in the year 1994. Prior to that, they attended Bergen Tekniske Fagskole from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Technician degree in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician.
