Muditha Kariyawasam has over a decade of work experience in software engineering and game development. In 2010, they started as an Associate-Technical Support at Virtusa, providing 3rd line technical support for the BT Openreach system. Muditha then worked as a Software Engineer/Game Developer at NextGen Web Solutions / GameCell Pvt Ltd from 2011. In 2015, they joined Lutendo as a Senior Software Engineer/Game Developer, where they were involved in story lines and character biography creations, and conducted design reviews. From 2017, they worked as a Consultant (Full Stack) at Telenor Health, involved in the development of a CRM system and financial approval management system. Muditha then moved to Well Tech Solutions in 2018 as a Lead Software Engineer, developing a data collection system to facilitate robust collection, secure storage and appropriate sharing and exploitation of population health data. Muditha currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Fixico/Gapstars since 2019.

Muditha Kariyawasam obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University from 2011 to 2012. Muditha then pursued a Master's Degree in Games Software Development from Sheffield Hallam University from 2013 to 2014.
