Matthew Zupan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

From 2019 onwards, they have been working at Fives Lund LLC as a Software Engineer and Principal Investigator.

Prior to that, from 2015 to 2019, they worked at Micron Manufacturing, Inc. where they served as an IoT Developer and later as an IoT Analyst. In these roles, they developed a machine monitoring system using various technologies such as Amazon Web Services, C# WebApi, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Angular 6, Clarity Design, Raspberry Pi, Node.js, and Ignition MQTT. Matthew also performed market analysis for machine tool companies and developed a proof-of-concept machine monitoring solution.

In 2012, Matthew worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they assisted Professor David J. Singer in ship design research using an algorithmic design framework.

Additionally, in the same year, they served as a Research Associate at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where they conducted a comprehensive literature review on neuroscience findings applicable to business negotiation theory.

In 2011, Matthew worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Research on Labor, Employment, and the Economy at the University of Michigan. In this role, they created feasibility reports for manufacturers and authored financial forecasts and best practice guides for business incubation programs in specific regions.

Matthew Zupan completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan between 2010 and 2015. During the same period, they also completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of Michigan.
