Francisco Javier Sánchez Rivas has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to 2018. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a System Administrator at Universidad de Sevilla. In 2011, they served as an Embedded Software Intern at AICIA (Andalusian Association for Research and Industrial Cooperation). From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Applus Laboratories as a Software and Hardware Technical Lead. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Dyson as a Systems Test Team Lead and Robotics Verification Lead and Senior Systems Test Engineer and Robotics Verification Lead. Finally, from 2018 to present, they have been employed at Five AI, where they have served as Software Engineering Director - Explore Group, Software Engineering Manager - Explore Group, Software Engineer Team Lead, and Systems Test Team Lead.

Francisco Javier Sánchez Rivas is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Francisco Javier previously obtained a Telecommunications degree from Lodz University of Technology through an Erasmus program, a Master's degree in Telecommunications from Universidad de Sevilla, and a High-school Científico-Técnico from IES Pablo Ruiz Picasso between 2002 and 2004. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in April 2018, and a Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) from National Instruments in March 2016.
