George Prior-Palmer is an independent landscape ecologist and river process specialist with extensive experience in river restoration, environmental consultancy, and natural capital projects. Currently engaged with George Prior-Palmer as a consultant and FiveRivers as an external specialist, George leads various initiatives including the development of a Catchment Conservation Plan for the Environmental Farmers Group and the UK's first habitat bank for watercourse BNG units. Prior experience as Projects Manager for the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust involved overseeing a £2m portfolio focused on pioneering water-related projects. George's background in business development at Movebubble, alongside an MSc in Agroecology from Harper Adams University and a BA in Hindi & History from SOAS University of London, complements a robust multidisciplinary expertise in ecology and environmental management.
