Community Support Worker at Five Good Friends

Nicole Fenton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nicole started their career at MyGreenChoice as a Director/Part owner from February 2010 to September 2013. Following that, they worked in various roles at Virgin Australia from June 2000 to June 2014, including Advanced Guest Service Agent and Baggage Services Supervisor. From August 2014 to January 2015, Nicole served as a Disruption and Flight Close Coordinator at Virgin Australia, where they coordinated travel arrangements and managed disruptions for guests. Nicole then joined Transdev Australasia as a Communication and Customer Experience Supervisor from December 2014 to August 2015, focusing on stakeholder communications and business development. From September 2015 to June 2017, Nicole worked as a Customer Service Rental Officer at Europcar Australia and New Zealand, providing seamless experiences for clients and achieving sales targets. Nicole then moved to Be (formerly ComLink) as a Personal Care Assistant from June 2017 to April 2018, ensuring the best home care for clients. In May 2018 to November 2018, Nicole took on the role of Community Lead/Scheduler at Five Good Friends Pty Ltd, where they coordinated and scheduled communities and maintained relationships with stakeholders. Most recently, in November to December 2020, they worked at SWARA as a Support Worker. Overall, Nicole has proven experience in customer service, communication, coordination, and care-giving roles.

Nicole Fenton completed a Certificate of Attainment in Case Management skills at Traxion Training in 2021. The same year, they also obtained a Certificate of completion in Understanding MS from The Wicking Centre University of Tasmania, as well as a Certificate of completion in Palliative Care from Australian Healthcare & Hospitals. Additionally, Nicole completed a Certificate of completion in Understanding Traumatic Brain Injury from The Wicking Centre University of Tasmania in 2021.

In 2020, they received Certificates of completion in COVID-19 infection control training from the Department of Health and Practical Diabetes for Aged Care Workers from Diabetes Qualified.

In 2019, Nicole earned a Certificate in Reiki 1 from Capalaba Natural Health. Nicole also completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, receiving a Certificate of completion in Quality Safety and You. In the same year, they obtained a Certificate of completion in Understanding Dementia from The Wicking Centre University of Tasmania.

Nicole completed a Certificate of completion in Preventing Dementia from The Wicking Centre University of Tasmania in 2018.

In 2017, they received a Certificate 4 in Ageing Support with a focus on Community Services and Disability from ARC Training.

Nicole's earlier education includes a Diploma in Community Recreation from Carseldine College of Advanced Education in 1983-1985 and attending Kenmore High from 1979 to 1984.
