Dan Clifford is an experienced executive in the mining and coal industries, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Fitzroy Mining Operations since September 2023. Prior to this role, Dan held the position of Managing Director at Aurelia Metals Ltd from October 2019 to November 2022 and previously served as Managing Director at Stanmore Coal Limited from November 2016 to October 2019. Dan's earlier leadership experience includes tenure as CEO at Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd between March 2014 and November 2016, General Manager Operations at Glencore Coal from May 2009 to February 2014, and Operations Manager at BHP from March 2005 to March 2009. Dan holds a degree from The University of Queensland, attended from 1989 to 1993.
