Heidi Hertel's work experience includes founding Fitz Frames in 2016. Before that, they worked as the Director of Public Affairs & Philanthropic Strategy at Griffin Schake Consulting from 2008 to 2009. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Political Consultant at Capital Strategies. Prior to that, they served as a Government Affairs Manager at Clear Channel Communications from 2004 to 2005 and at Hertel & Associates from 2003 to 2004.

Heidi Hertel has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Communications & Media Studies from Tufts University, obtained in May 2000. Heidi then went on to pursue a Doctor of Law degree (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center, graduating in May 2003. Additionally, Heidi Hertel has obtained certification to practice law in the District of Columbia.
