Michael Korobov has held a variety of roles in finance, investment banking, and customer service engineering. Michael began their career as a Customer Service Engineer Development Intern at Yesmail in 2012. In 2013, they took on the role of Investment Operations Analyst at Principal Global Investors. In 2014, they worked as a Business Communication Tutor at The University of Iowa, an Equity Research Analyst at The University of Iowa Krause Fund, and an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Houlihan Lokey. In 2015, they were promoted to Investment Banking Analyst at Houlihan Lokey. In 2018, they became a Private Equity Associate at CIC Partners. In 2020, they were appointed Director of Finance at Better Place Forests, where they were involved in projects that earned several awards from Fast Company and Comparably. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Head of Finance at Fitbod.

Michael Korobov received their Business degree in Finance from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business between 2011 and 2015. Prior to this, they attended New Trier Township High School between 2007 and 2011. Michael has also obtained several certifications, including Digital Marketing Analytics from the MIT Sloan School of Management in June 2018, Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in October 2015, Series 79 - Investment Banking Representative from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in August 2015, and Financial Management from eCornell in October 2013.
