Maria Elena Chiappe has a diverse work experience. Maria Elena began their career in 2015 as a Researcher at Università degli Studi di Cagliari, where they contributed to the ILLBuster project, working on the development and documentation of the web UI, as well as expanding the scope of their bachelor thesis on the automated detection of ActionScript malware. In 2018, they joined HelloFresh, where they held the roles of Senior Data Engineer, Data Engineer, and Junior Big Data Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Software Engineering Manager at Fit Analytics, a Snap Inc. company.

Maria Elena Chiappe has an extensive educational background. Maria Elena obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electric and Electronic Engineering from Università degli Studi di Cagliari in 2015. Maria Elena then went on to receive a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from the same university in 2018. In 2017, Chiappe attended the Huawei HQ Training Center and received a Certificate of Honor for the Seeds for the Future Program. Maria Elena also attended the Beijing Language and Culture University in 2017 and received a Certificate of Attendance for the Chinese Language & Culture Experience Program. Additionally, Chiappe holds a Cambridge ESOL Level 2 Certificate in ESOL International from the University of Cambridge, which they obtained in 2011, and an EFSET English Certificate - Score: 74/100, Proficient (CEFR C2) from EF Education First.
