Hugo Dias is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative technology solutions. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Fission since April 2023, Hugo previously contributed at Protocol Labs from March 2018 to February 2023, where notable achievements include building NFT Storage and Web3 Storage, along with core engineering for IPFS, libp2p, and multiformats. Earlier roles include Web Engineer at MOXY, Engineering Lead at Farfetch, and Head of Front-end at Movvo, where Hugo focused on full-stack development and eCommerce optimization. Additionally, as a Research Engineer at LSTS, Hugo developed Neptus, a critical infrastructure for unmanned vehicle operations. Academic training includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto, completed in 2010.
