Jonathan Currie is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in software development, guidance navigation, and control systems. Currently serving as the Head of Software & Algorithms at Fisher & Paykel Technologies, overseeing multiple teams responsible for embedded software, AI, and digital solutions, Jonathan's prior role as Director of GNC at Rocket Lab involved managing over 30 engineers in the development of flight software and hardware testing. With a strong foundation in academia, including a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Auckland University of Technology, Jonathan has contributed to various high-tech projects as a consultant and lecturer, specializing in embedded systems, UAV technology, and software engineering.
