Gareth McDermott has extensive experience in product management and development within the healthcare and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Senior Product Manager for Optiflow THRIVE at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare since January 2018, Gareth has also held the positions of Product Development Manager and Senior Product Development Engineer at the same company. Prior experience includes the role of Product Manager and R&D Engineer at Metro Performance Glass and Senior Product Development Engineer at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. Gareth began their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Felton Industries Limited. Academically, Gareth holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Auckland University of Technology.
